The Melrose Hospital is looking to add a Surgical Technologist to their team! As a Surgical Technologist, you will perform a combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team. You will be responsible for preparing the operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures, assist as directed during operations as well as track inventory of surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses and other surgical personnel to deliver quality patient care.

This position will primarily work at the Melrose Hospital, but will require cross training and occasional coverage at the Paynesville Hospital.

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks

  • Various shifts Monday - Friday | 6:00 am - 5:00 pm (dependent on surgery & outpatient schedule)

  • Rotating weekday, weekend and holiday on-call

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $34.49 per hour and increases with experience

  • Pay range: $30.65 - $46.90

  • Up to $10,000 student loan repayment or $5,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card

  • Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations

To be eligible for recruitment incentives, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Melrose Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment. CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
