Day Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. A Volkswagen Warranty Administrator is responsible for the effective and timely administration of warranty claims across the dealership network, ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies and maintaining accurate records for audits and customer service Core Responsibilities

  • Claim Processing & Submission: Prepare, code, submit, and collect warranty claims within manufacturer timeframes; ensure all claim information is entered accurately into systems like UCS or Power
  • Warranty Account Management: Advise on warranty adjustments to keep accounts balanced; track credits, rejections, and customer contributions toward goodwill claims
  • Record Keeping & Audits: Maintain an accurate filing system for warranty claims; complete self-audits as required; keep records of submissions, payments, and rejections
  • Policy Compliance: Administer warranty policy in the best interests of the dealership, manufacturer, and customer; ensure all administrative functions follow company policy
  • Reporting & Review: Review warranty reporting systems with the Aftersales Manager to identify improvements
  • Customer & Stakeholder Liaison: Advise internal and external customers on warranty matters; maintain relationships with service staff, specialist repairers, and manufacturer representatives
  • Recall & Campaign Support: Inform staff of recall campaigns and changes in warranty/goodwill procedures; assist with recall and product enhancement campaigns
  • Cross-Site Support: Support warranty claims at other sites during holidays or peak periods
  • WIP Monitoring: Regularly check Warranty Work in Progress with Service Advisors to ensure claims are not missed.

Required Qualifications Minimum​​

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.

  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.

  • OR 5 years’ experience in a related field

  • Previous experience in automotive, auction, fleet management, logistics, or related administrative roles.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced auction environment.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

​Preferred

  • Experience with auction management software (e.g.,AS400, ASI, Auction Edge, AutoIMS, DRIVIN, etc.).

  • Knowledge of title processing and vehicle remarketing operations.

  • Prior experience supporting commercial accounts or B2B clients.
