Join our team and make a difference in the lives of elementary students! We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person school-based opportunity in Fort Worth, TX .

?? Location: Fort Worth, TX

?? Pay: Up to $40.00/hour (DOE)

?? Start Date: September 28, 2026

? Schedule: Monday-Friday | 37.5 Hours/Week

?? Grade Level: Elementary

?? Caseload: Approximately 60-70 Students

?? Contract Length: 36 Weeks

? Full-Time, In-Person Position

Position Overview

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will support the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students. Responsibilities include assisting with treatment implementation, documentation, educational activities, and clinical support while working under the supervision and direction of the SLP.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas SLPA License

  • Associate's degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders

  • Minimum of 100 supervised fieldwork hours or equivalent clinical experience

  • At least 2 years of SLPA experience preferred

  • Ability to comply with all state, federal, and professional practice standards

  • Current health and screening requirements as applicable

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program

  • Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract

  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
