Job Summary
Implements new or updated programs or portions of large scale network initiatives. Projects impact costs, quality, efficiencies and achievement of objectives across departments, often with enterprise-wide impacts. Applies advanced technical and health care operations knowledge to solve complex problems which may impact service lines or corporate service or regional entity.
Educates and develops board members on key health care issues, the enterprise mission, vision and values, and the role of community relationships.
Facilitates local strategic planning processes that integrate enterprise strategic plans. Coordinates with the medical staff the review of service lines, capital expenditures and medical staff bylaws.
Works with physicians in developing relationships among peers and other staff through times of conflict. Plays a key role in the recruitment of providers. Primary point of contact for providers compensation related questions.
Ensures the development and implementation of medical staff development plans. Mentors, teaches and develops designated enterprise leaders as community leaders.
Owns the annual operating and capital budgets.
Collaborates with physicians and board members to establish quality metrics on an annual basis. Represents the enterprise at community functions, hospital association meetings and other trade or organizational meetings.
Assesses potential health care facilities with strategic importance to the long-term vision of the enterprise, and seek to bring them into the enterprise.
Drives system growth and integration through local and regional health care delivery, operating as an enterprise division, and promote cooperation and collaboration among system divisions in all markets of the enterprise.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care administration, business or a related field required. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum seven years of management experience required.
Maintain any certification or licensure as required.
