1.0 FTE - Day/Evening and rotating Shifts

Starting Pay - $39.41 to $59.11 (based on experience)

Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.

Qualifications:

Satisfactory completion of an accrediting Diagnostic Sonography Program

Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

BLS certification

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas

Strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

Takes initiative to confirm orders are accurate.

Reviews patient history for necessary information (lab results, surgeries, etc.).

Performs difficult manipulative skills to obtain diagnostic images on all patients (outpatient, inpatient, ER, OR, and portable).

Uses independent judgment to evaluate images and related data to interpret exams and provides preliminary findings to the radiologist.

Performs invasive procedures.

Takes call on a rotating basis.

Other duties as assigned.
