Full job description

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Hardware Test Technician to support the NPI (New Product Introduction) Pilot Line team. This group serves as the bridge between design engineering and high-volume manufacturing, supporting EV/DV validation efforts across hardware, software, and mechanical teams.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of hardware test technician, electronics technician, or related experience

Strong PCBA troubleshooting and debugging skills

Ability to identify board-level failures and perform root cause analysis

Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment

Ability to read and interpret basic schematics

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs (equipment is approximately 38 lbs)

Able to work onsite 5 days/week in San Jose Rework and soldering experience
