Supply Chain Integration & Obsolescence Manager
Company: The Boeing Company
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Integration & Obsolescence Manager to join our team in Mesa, AZ.
The Manager will lead a team of experienced Supply Chain Integration & Obsolescence Specialists supporting Vertical Lift government platforms.
The Supply Chain Integration team serves as the primary interface with all business units and functions on matters related to supply chain support. You will support proposal development and management activities to ensure successful supply chain contract executability, manage supply chain execution performance including customer on time delivery; risk, issue, and opportunity management; perform requirements management for supply chain systems & tools integrations; and develop & maintain supply chain business events and process flows.
The Supply Chain Obsolescence team performs proactive obsolescence monitoring and mitigation support to maintain aircraft availability and improve mission readiness and customer affordability.
Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support.

Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
-
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
-
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
-
Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
-
This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
-
5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
-
3+ years of experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue and opportunity management to drive performance
-
5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and cross-functional teams
-
5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
-
5+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams
-
3+ years of experience performing Schedule Executability Risk Assessments and preparing, analyzing and reporting recommendations to Program Senior Leadership re: establishment and management of Schedule Risk Mitigation (i.e., Schedule Margin)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study

Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
-
Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
-
Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
-
Experience in Program or Project Management
-
Experience in Department of Defense Supply Chain processes and tools
-
Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $114,750 - $155,250
