Full job description

Review and analyze requests for Informal Conferences, verifying that the requests are in compliance with the Rules and Regulations.

Schedule informal conferences to create and manage dockets.

Process settlements and update award information within the case management system.

Generate Commission fines and apply payments within case management system.

Answer incoming calls. Research and respond to inquiries from the public, staff, claimants, attorneys, and provide claim file status.

Process Letter of representation

Process requests for copies and payments for copy service

Alternate to the Mail room clerk and receptionist

High School Graduate/ GED and related experience OR equivalent workers' compensation experience in lieu of or in conjunction with education requirements.

Ability to learn and apply rules and regulations.

Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to internal staff and external stakeholders.

Ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume working environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Bachelor's Degree and/or related workers' compensation experience.
-
Position may require overnight travel.

Position may require employees to work overtime.
