Join a dynamic healthcare team where your pharmacy operations expertise can help improve member experiences and ensure the seamless administration of pharmacy benefits. We're seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Services Specialist who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex issues while supporting critical pharmacy programs and initiatives.

Location: Remote*

Pay Rate: $27-$28/hour

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Why This Role Matters

As a Pharmacy Services Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, pharmacy benefit management partners, providers, and members. Your work will help ensure pharmacy benefits are administered accurately, customer concerns are resolved efficiently, and organizational initiatives are successfully implemented.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate daily activities related to pharmacy benefit management operations

  • Support the research, development, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy programs and initiatives

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for pharmacy-related projects and operational activities

  • Resolve issues independently and escalate complex concerns to management when appropriate

  • Coordinate benefit plan administration activities with internal stakeholders and PBM partners

  • Research and resolve escalated member inquiries, grievances, and pharmacy claim issues

  • Review and process pharmacy claim adjustments as appropriate

  • Coordinate the resolution of pharmacy coverage determinations with clinical staff and external partners

  • Support pharmacy claim reconsiderations and appeals processes

  • Assist with responses to RFPs, government program applications, and related requests

  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met across pharmacy operations

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy operations, pharmacy benefits, healthcare administration, customer service, or a related field

  • Experience supporting pharmacy benefit management (PBM) functions preferred

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Experience handling escalated customer service issues and member concerns preferred

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare-related systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to meet compliance requirements

  • Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
