Litigation Paralegal

Description

A growing regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to add to their firm, handling cases of commercial and residential 1st party property claims. They represent the plaintiff or property owners in all matters.

The salary range is 60-90k base DOE, plus additional bonus earnings. They reimburse costs of medical, dental and vision insurance, have a 401k with company match, 2-4 weeks PTO DOE, 11 paid holidays, provide equipment to work from home, and allow for fully remote working. Some local travel to property sites or meetings with the other team members may be required on occasion.

This role is open to local candidates residing within the state of Washington.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in Washington state

• Knowledge with Washington state and federal court procedures, deadlines and e-filing portals

• Experience e-filing in multiple Washington counties and federal courts, Oregon state experience a plus

• Experience drafting initial pleadings, proofreading and formatting, drafting and organizing discovery

• Experience tracking billable hours, although this role does not have a billable expectation/target
