Position Summary/Description:

The Department of Dramatic Art at UNC -Chapel Hill invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor in Costume Technology (non-tenure track, fixed-term). The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 load (six courses annually), with primary responsibility for teaching draping and pattern making, and lab courses in our MFA Costume Production program. This position will mentor the MFA students, support PlayMakers during production hours in the costume shop ( DRAM 790-796), act as a liaison for KTC student designers as well as teach one undergraduate course to be determined by the MFA program Head and Chair.

In addition to teaching, the candidate may have the opportunity to work with PlayMakers Repertory company and/or the Kenan Theatre Company in your area of specialization.
