Summary

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Technical Division (SP20), Office of the Chief Engineer (SP201), Office of Deputy Chief Engineer, Business Acq Office Financial Management of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Duties

  • You will possess comprehensive knowledge of fiscal policy and law as it applies to DoD acquisition for multiple most common Department of the Navy appropriations.
  • You will assess assigned financial health of projects, tracks, coordinates, and analyzes overall program financial data, schedules, and milestones.
  • You will develop strategies for programming, budgeting, and procurement for an organization controlling thresholds in excess of $200M.
  • You will be responsible for assisting with multiple contracting efforts in excess of $100M and contract administration throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including requests for proposal, and contract award(s), modification(s), and closeout.
  • You will prepare and provide programmatic financial briefings and solutions to potential financial risks for senior leadership, technical stakeholders, and external organizations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03(GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing multi-year budget execution by monitoring financial health of organization and applying financial policies and systems to ensure effective resource management.
