2027 Regulatory Compliance Engineer Intern

Description

As an intern with Textron, you’ll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You’ll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways – working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain compliance documents per documentation process.

  • Research standards and give input to upcoming regulatory standards and how they affect TSV products.

  • Attend and contribute to design reviews and research and recommend design modifications.

  • Assist in determining costing for and procure test equipment

  • Maintain calibration of laboratory and data acquisition equipment

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models and product plans.

Qualifications

  • Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • GPA: 3.0 or higher required

  • Software Knowledge: Experience with CAD drawings, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

AI Readiness: Textron expects employees to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively. Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying these tools, evaluating AI-generated output with sound judgment, and using AI in line with company policy and ethical standards. Prior experience with specific tools is not required — we value curiosity, adaptability, and good judgment.
