  • Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday Days, (occasional evening, weekends)
  • Serving Pasco County Field Based Role
  • Experience in 911/ County EMS Role

Establishes and nurtures relationships with hospital administrators and key staff to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Develops and maintains comprehensive profiles for EMS stations, including capabilities, resources, and contact information. Provides joint training sessions and educational programs to ensure both EMS and hospital staff are familiar with each other's protocols and procedures. Develops and implements standardized protocols for patient handoff, information sharing, and emergency response. Utilizes technology to streamline communication and data sharing between EMS stations and hospitals. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the relationship through established performance metrics. Creates a feedback loop for EMS and hospital staff to provide input and suggest improvements. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the management of EMS station profiles and hospital relationships. Encourages mutual respect and understanding between EMS and hospital staff. Reviews feedback regularly and makes necessary adjustments to enhance the relationship. Fosters a collaborative environment through team-building activities and joint initiatives. Coordinates regular meetings and updates between EMS personnel and hospital staff to ensure alignment and address any issues. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and public speaking (platform skills) [Required]
  • Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships and loyalty to the hospital as well as develop new referral sources [Required]
  • Understanding of EMS and/or Emergency Department processes [Required]
  • Demonstrate initiative, poise, confidence and willingness to accept challenges. [Required]
  • Ability to travel between hospital and EMS locations. [Required]
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position [Required]
  • Must possess good time management skills and be customer and results-oriented. [Required]
  • Familiarity with hospital operations, language and roles. [Required]
  • Ability to verbally articulate service line and product attributes [Required]
  • Ability to conceptualize and generate sales within a fluid environment, with particular skill in identifying and setting priorities. [Required]
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with EMS, employees, allied health providers and healthcare leadership. [Required]
  • Ability to represent AdventHealth mission to customers and the public. [Required]
  • Demonstrated effective writing ability. [Required]
  • Knowledge of the hospital sales industry. [Required]
  • Ability to use or learn customer relationship management software [Required]
  • Self-directed with an ability to oversee multiple projects/activities simultaneously. [Required]

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • in Science in Emergency Medical Services or equivalent
  • in nursing, paramedics, business or health sciences

Work Experience:

  • 2+ related experience (nursing, paramedic, business-related field) [Required]
  • 3+ related experience (nursing, paramedic, business-related field) [Preferred]

Additional Information:

  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement: - Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience OR - Associates degree and 4+ years of experience OR - High School Grad or Equivalent and 6+ years of experience.

Pay Range:

$50,211.20 - $93,392.00 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
