Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end program management for mission-critical initiatives, starting with our automation and quality programme.
- Build visibility across systems, dashboards, monitoring, alerting, health metrics, and escalation workflows.
- Drive rapid root-cause analysis and coordinate incident resolution across engineering, ML, data, clinical, and CS teams.
- Build process frameworks, runbooks, and scalable operational models that allow teams to execute predictably.
- Establish proactive risk management, quality gates, and cross-team checkpoints before major releases.
- Lead complex multi-team launches and rollouts (currently 6-8 weeks) and streamline them for predictability and speed.
- Run program reviews, track dependencies, and maintain clear ownership across stakeholders.
- Champion operational excellence, continuous improvement, tighter SLAs, better tooling, and consistent execution.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of technical programme management experience, ideally in ML/AI, healthcare tech, or other quality-critical domains.
- Proven track record managing multi-team programmes involving engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
- Experience building operational systems such as monitoring, alerting, quality frameworks, and incident response.
- Strong ability to drive results without formal authority and work effectively in high-ambiguity environments.
- Background working with regulated or quality-sensitive workloads is strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand system architecture and map which components are impacted by changes.
- Strong analytical skills: SQL proficiency, comfort with dashboards, and trend analysis.
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.
- Comfortable having technical conversations with engineers and understanding trade-offs.
- Familiarity with modern data/ML stacks; we use GCP and BigQuery.
- Exceptional communicator who brings clarity, structure, and urgency.
- Low-ego, high-empathy leader who can influence without authority.
- Comfortable running war rooms, driving decision-making, and managing incidents end-to-end.
- Builds processes that scale without creating unnecessary overhead.
- Experience in healthcare AI, medical coding, RCM workflows, or quality engineering.
- Experience scaling programmes at a fast-growing startup.
- Exposure to pod-based org structures.
- Prior background in operational excellence or reliability engineering.
