Full job description
Description We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to join a long-term contract opportunity in Bloomingdale, Georgia. This position supports customer delivery planning, shipment coordination, and sales operations activities in a fast-paced supply chain environment. The role will work across customer service, production, logistics, and finance functions to maintain accurate order flow, documentation, and reporting while helping ensure timely responses to customer needs.
Responsibilities:

Translate customer production forecasts into accurate system updates and maintain reliable planning data for ongoing operations.

Review material and delivery gaps, identify potential shortages, and arrange shipment orders to support customer demand.

Contribute to monthly sales forecasting and assist with annual business planning through organized data analysis and reporting.

Prepare shipping and customer-facing documentation, coordinating closely with internal teams to keep order processing on schedule.

Liaise with overseas manufacturing locations to align production timing, capacity, and delivery expectations.

Communicate production line availability while accounting for global holiday calendars and scheduling constraints.

Address customer questions and help resolve service issues by coordinating corrective actions with the appropriate departments.

Compile daily shipment activity reports, create monthly delivery summaries, and verify records against customer data.

Monitor invoicing, shipment transactions, accounts receivable status, and month-end sales closing activities in partnership with finance.

Support operational reporting and related process updates as needed within logistics and sales coordination workflows. Requirements • Experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination within a customer-focused environment.

Working knowledge of shipment planning, delivery tracking, and order management processes.

Ability to analyze shortages, reconcile data, and maintain accurate operational records.

Comfortable coordinating with cross-functional teams including production, customer service, and finance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for supporting customers and international stakeholders.

Proficiency with reporting tools, spreadsheets, and business systems used for logistics or sales operations.

Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring monthly tasks.
