PRACTICAL NURSE--LICENSED, 3/WAE/PRN

Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse. • Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, mental and/or behavior status and report significant changes to the Supervisor and Physician.
• Transcribe physicians' orders, carry out physicians' orders, document in residents' medical records, obtain specimens for laboratory testing, and provide residents assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
