Full job description

Your future role at a glance

  • Location: Remote

  • Department: Ascension Embedded Pharmacy

  • Schedule: Multiple shifts available

How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Identifies patients with financial needs for medication access and consults with patients and team members to assist in gaining access.

  • Searches for assistance programs based on financial and insurance status, and registers patients when necessary, including reading and translating medication scripts.

  • Assists team members with relationship/account management.

  • Follows up with manufacturers to ensure completion of medication delivery.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

  • Required Credential(s):

  • None Required.

  • Preferred Credential(s):

  • Pharmacy Tech.

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Education

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
