Job Title: Accountant (QuickBooks & Advanced Excel Expert)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with 10+ years of hands on accounting experience , exceptional QuickBooks proficiency , and strong Excel formula and data analysis skills . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, takes ownership of their work, and can manage accounting operations with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full?cycle accounting, including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

• Maintain and optimize QuickBooks company files, chart of accounts, and reporting structure

• Perform advanced Excel?based financial analysis (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX?MATCH, pivot tables, nested formulas, data validation, etc.)

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Assist with year end closing and external audits

• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional accounting experience

• Expert?level QuickBooks skills (Desktop and/or Online)

• Advanced Excel proficiency , including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling

• Strong understanding of GAAP

• Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and month?end close

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Experience in multi entity accounting

• Familiarity with inventory accounting, job costing, or manufacturing

• Knowledge of additional accounting software or ERP systems, Fishbowl(warehouse inventory)

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
