JOB DESCRIPTION

Outside Service Providers Support Group Director

Location: Milan, Via Fantoli, Italy (On-site)

The Outside Service Providers Support Group (OSPSG) Director is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and management of OSPs within a country. The role acts as the primary liaison between the company and external vendors, ensuring that all contracted services are delivered according to agreed standards, timelines, and budgets.

This position manages the processes of operations including procurement vendor relations, contract administration, and guidance of future business opportunities. The OSPSG Director manages others within the department.

What you will do:

  • Manage the OSP Negotiations

  • Manage the Compensation Model ensuring timely design, updates, approvals and implementation.

  • Control OSP costs through weekly forecasts, monthly reporting, cost deviation analysis and accrual oversight.

  • Lead OSP Business Plan preparation, ensuring accurate volumes, cost development, and cost‑saving initiatives.

  • Oversee legal compliance, contract updates, monthly invoicing and internal OSP audits.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organization, coordination, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Analytical and financial skills.

  • Proactive, dynamic, and vendor‑strategy oriented approach.

  • Experience managing complex operations and outsourced providers.

  • Ability to innovate and adapt to market changes.

  • Good understanding of freight operations and transport regulations.

  • Experience in leading teams and coordinating cross-functional activities will be highly valued.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Logistics, Law, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related field.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Fluency in both Italian and English. The selection process will be conducted in both languages.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • 8-10 year experience in a management position and similar role.

  • Willing to travel and being relocated.
