Construction Project Superintendent - Kings Bay Base, GA
RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Construction Project Superintendent to support projects at Kings Bay military base in Georgia. This role is ideal for an experienced construction leader looking to apply their expertise on complex, high-visibility projects in a fast-paced environment.
As a Superintendent, you will play a key role in driving project execution while working closely with a skilled and collaborative team. Your leadership will help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining jobsite discipline, promoting teamwork, and delivering quality results.
Compensation: $1550,000 - $165,000 annually
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; auto allowance and gas card
Role Overview:
In this position, you will be responsible for overall field operations, ensuring projects progress smoothly from planning through completion. Partnering with the Project Manager, you will provide on-site leadership, oversee daily construction activities, and guide assistant superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel.
Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and internal teams, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring all work meets quality expectations. Your commitment to teamwork and maintaining clear communication across all levels will be critical to achieving project success.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Additional coursework or a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale construction projects, including oversight of scheduling, procurement, field operations, safety, quality control, and overall production

10+ years of total construction field or trade experience strongly preferred

Experience with government, military, or large commercial projects is a plus, particularly within design-build environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer applications required (training available)

Experience with Primavera P3/P6, Oracle, BIM, or Revit is preferred (training available)

CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training can be provided if needed)

LEED Green Associate (GA) credential is a plus
