Manufacturing Supervisor – Lead a High‑Impact Production Team

This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Work On

  • Lead Daily Production Performance

  • Oversee production activities, material flow, and inventory to ensure your line(s) meet targets for volume, quality, cost, and schedule.Maintain a constant line presence, communicating daily with operators and ensuring a safe, compliant work environment.

  • Develop as a Leader

  • Receive direct coaching and guidance from your manager as you build competence in frontline leadership.Make key decisions in collaboration with your manager and peer group, using established escalation processes.Learn to lead your shift team in consistently meeting expectations across all performance areas.

  • Guide and Support Your Team

  • Manage and coach operators to improve productivity, quality, and safety.Coordinate shift starts, handoffs, and daily activities to ensure smooth multi‑shift operations.Promote team, department, and site goals through clear direction, consistent communication, and active engagement.

  • Drive Results & Continuous Improvement

  • Track, trend, and report key performance indicators; communicate progress and improvement opportunities to your manager and site leadership.Identify and support change initiatives with guidance from your manager—driving positive impact for individuals, the team, and the business.Participate in team and department projects, owning assigned actions and contributing to successful execution.

  • Ensure Quality & Compliance

  • Manage processes and personnel to ensure all production meets required quality standards.Maintain 100% training and compliance with all applicable procedures and safety expectations.

  • Additional Accountability

  • Support budget responsibilities (up to ~$2MM USD) aligned with your level of authority.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Shift

Please note: This is a 12-hour Day shift position from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and allows you to have every other weekend off.

  • Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF

  • Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

  • Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun – OFF

  • Week 4 :Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

Required Qualifications

  • BS or BA Degree - required

  • 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing people

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Batch making experience

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
