We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager, Maternity Services to lead a highly specialized team across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, and Perinatology Services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing service line supported by significant physician recruitment and strategic investment. Position Purpose The Nurse Manager, Maternity Services is a licensed Registered Nurse responsible for leading, managing, and advancing nursing practice, patient care quality, colleague engagement, and operational performance throughout the Women's and Children's service line. This leader is accountable for the daily operations, clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial stewardship, and professional development of team members across:

What You'll Do

Provide operational and clinical leadership for all Maternity Services departments.

Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff, charge nurses, and clinical leaders.

Drive quality, safety, patient experience, and colleague engagement outcomes.

Manage staffing plans, scheduling, productivity, and departmental budgets.

Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning activities.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Lead departmental initiatives related to growth, operational excellence, and strategic goals.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
-
Recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery required.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of maternal-child health nursing practices.

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related healthcare field preferred.
-
Previous nurse management or leadership experience preferred.
-
Experience managing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, and/or Women's Services departments preferred.
-
National specialty certification (RNC-OB, NCC, NE-BC, NEA-BC, or similar) preferred.
-
Experience leading quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives preferred.
Compensation
- $50.49 - $78.29/hour (base salary equivalent)
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
