Full job description

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian is seeking a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Pre-Admission Testing team. This is a rare, new leadership opportunity.

Schedule: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period- Exempt Leadership - Hours 0800-1630 Monday - Friday and other hours as needed for mgmt. position.

Unit Summary

The Meridian OR provides ortho, urology, general, OB/GYN, ENT, optics, plastics services (everything but head and vascular). They also have a call team on staff, so call is very minimal for staff positions. The Assistant Nurse Manager oversees daily operations, problem solving with multiple surgeon offices daily and leading the team of nurse and CAPs.

Job Description Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Experience: 3 years nursing experience in Pre-Op, PACU or PAT needed for this leadership position.

  • Licenses/Certifications: RN license required
