Description

Assists the Patient Registration Supervisor in the day-to-day functions of the department on assigned shift. Assigns work, assists with schedules, reviews, trains employees including new hires, and observes and reports employee issues to Management. Oversees Emergency Department Registration, Inpatient Registration, Outpatient Registration, Financial Counseling, Cashier and Quality Control Representatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • General ED

  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire

  • One (1) year experience in a Hospital Admitting/Registration or similar medical office experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree

  • Three (3) years experience in hospital Admitting/Registration Department.

  • One (1) year Supervisory Experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
