Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Marketing Events Coordinator based at our Charlotte, NC location.

What you will do:

  • Plan and execute marketing events including customer events, dealer conferences, host virtual webinars, training workshops, and internal meetings. Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, travel, accommodations, vendor management, registration, on-site support, and attendee communications.

  • Oversee customer visits, product demonstrations, and facility tours by developing tailored agendas and experiences that align with audience needs and business objectives.

  • Support the day-to-day management of the company’s customer experience center, including maintaining event readiness, updating displays and content, and coordinating activities across internal teams.

  • Deliver exceptional event experiences by serving as the primary point of contact for event attendees, presenters, and vendors. Ensure events run smoothly from planning through execution while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

  • Manage event budgets and reporting by tracking expenses, processing invoices, negotiating with vendors, monitoring event costs, and providing regular budget updates and post-event reports to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to support event promotion, coordinate event materials, manage timelines, and ensure all event activities align with business objectives and brand standards.

  • Measure and improve event success by gathering attendee feedback, analyzing event results, maintaining event records, and identifying opportunities to enhance future programs and increase engagement.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with no prior experience required

  • Associate's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience

Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

  • Experience planning and coordinating events, meetings, trade shows, conferences, webinars, or customer engagement activities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

  • Experience managing event budgets, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and working with vendors and suppliers.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including attendee, vendor, and stakeholder communications.

  • Experience with event registration platforms, survey tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage logistics in a fast-paced environment.
