About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Duties

• Serve as a Joint Planner for DOD, Interagency, Allied, Participating Nations, and Country Team Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime plans and policy.
• Conduct joint and interagency planning to prepare concepts of operations, operations plans, campaign plans, and operation orders.
• Prepare the design and staffing of myriad land, air, and maritime Counterdrug/ Counter Transnational Organized Crime plans.
• Initiate and coordinate planning requirements for new technologies and agreements to include developing performance criteria and employment techniques.
• Provide expert analysis and formulation of mid and long-range Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime resource requirements.
• Initiate and coordinate planning requirements for new technologies and agreements with U. S. and foreign agencies.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing analysis of resource requirements to support a Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CD/CTCO) mission; planning or assisting with the planning operations, event activities, policies, and procedures to support a Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CD/CTCO) mission; and partnering with senior officials, ambassadors, Participating Nation militaries, law enforcement, and/or other liaisons in support of a Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CD/CTCO) mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS/GG-12. This position requires a 2 year trial period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
