Account Manager / Business Development Representative Skilled Trades & Construction Staffing | Remote | Full-Time | W2 -in Dallas Metro area Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base salary + tiered commission | OTE $120,000–$300,000/year Benefits: Generous benefits, 401(k) with 3% match, PTO, and paid holidays
About the Opportunity Our client is a construction and skilled trades staffing agency with over 20 years in business — and they're booming. They're looking for a driven Account Manager/BD Rep to fuel continued growth: fully REMOTE, full-time W2, with uncapped earning potential for someone who knows how to sell temporary skilled trades staffing and produce in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business within skilled trades staffing
- Identify and source prospects using Apollo
- Set daily targets and execute against a sales plan
- Call prospects and book virtual/in-person meetings
- Build client relationships and grow accounts; pursue opportunities locally and nationwide
- Participate in weekly production meetings to review activity, opportunities, and problem-solve
- Maintain ongoing client relationships and communication
How It Works Temporary staffing model: e.g., supplying electricians to a contractor at an agreed bill rate, employing and insuring the workers, paying the workforce weekly, and billing the client weekly. Selling a people-based service means the product — temporary skilled labor — is inherently unpredictable. Success requires enough staffing experience to understand that dynamic, solve problems quickly, and consistently produce in a high-growth environment.
Must Haves
- 2-5 years of proven staffing ACCOUNT MANAGER/SALES/Business Dev experience
- Experience selling temporary construction/skilled trades staffing NOT industrial.
- Proven sales of $1M+ per year - MUST
- Proven new-business development, prospecting, appointment setting, client relationship building, and territory/book development, with measurable revenue production within staffing
- Solid understanding of the temporary staffing model; ability to work independently
