• Documents appropriately in the patient’s medical record.
• Responds appropriately during emergencies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and follows proper procedure protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates and practices proper radiation protection measures.
• Maintains harmonious working relationships with physicians and other staff members.
• Assists the Radiology team in meeting patient needs during procedures and accurately recording charges.
• Attends all hospital and departmental meetings and mandatory in-services.
• Promotes a positive attitude in the workplace and encourages others to do the same.
• Demonstrates an organized approach to daily workload and adheres to approved standards of aseptic technique.
• Administers IVs, medications, and contrast material under the supervision of the attending physician.
• Uses AdventHealth service standards as a model when interacting with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Assesses patient status on arrival and throughout the pre and post-recovery phase, updating the physician of any potential life-threatening changes.
• Supports hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge/understanding of interventional procedures
• Documenting/recording information
• Communication with other workers
• Keeping up-to-date technically
• Making decisions and solving problems
• Critical thinking

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 2+ years of critical care experience [Preferred]
• 2+ years of relevant clinical experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$32.48 - $56.84 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
