City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Anatomic Pathology Lab at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. (Monday-Friday; 0700-1530)

*This position is for the Anatomic Pathology lab, but will also assisting in cytology collection procedures

Overview: As a laboratory support technician (LST) duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology (required)

Certification/Licensure

• No certification or licensure required

The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.96 - $29.25 hourly.
