Description

We are looking for a Performance & Risk Reporting Analyst to join a long-term contract assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate operational and reporting needs into clear requirements, support solution delivery, and help ensure reporting outputs meet client expectations. This position is ideal for someone who can balance analytical thinking, client service, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and reporting needs by working closely with client-facing teams, operations partners, and technical groups to define practical solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver performance-related reporting, including attribution, contribution, and ex-post risk analysis, while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

  • Turn client-driven updates into documented requirements and support the execution of approved reporting and process changes.

  • Serve as a key point of coordination among stakeholders, including offshore support teams, to ensure deliverables align with business expectations.

  • Respond to reporting-related inquiries from shared communication channels and provide clear, timely follow-up to clients and internal partners.

  • Contribute to client onboarding activities by helping establish reporting processes, validate requirements, and support implementation tasks for the operations team.

  • Plan and carry out system and reporting tests to confirm that business requirements are met and issues are identified before release.

  • Maintain adherence to established controls and risk practices designed to reduce operational exposure across team activities.

  • Assist team leadership with project-based work and centralized initiatives that support broader business objectives.

Requirements • Experience working in business analysis, client reporting, performance reporting, or a related function within financial services or operations.

  • Knowledge of performance measurement concepts such as attribution, contribution analysis, and ex-post risk reporting.

  • Ability to gather, document, and refine business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions for technical and operational teams.

  • Strong communication skills with experience acting as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and support teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage client requests, respond to reporting questions, and coordinate activities across multiple teams.

  • Familiarity with testing processes, implementation support, and change management in a business systems environment.

  • Working knowledge of operational risk controls and disciplined procedures for maintaining accuracy and quality in deliverables.
