Full job description

SUMMARY: The Treasury Analyst supports Motion Industries' initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency in the use of working capital and continuous evaluation of policies and procedures for process improvements.

JOB DUTIES

  • Performs analysis of key processes in payables and receivables, reports on performance metrics, and recommends process changes to improve such metrics.
  • Engages with the Motion Supply Chain team to evaluate and recommend improvements to supplier relationships from a Motion Treasury perspective.
  • Assists with reviews of new leases for proper accounting classification.
  • Supports field needs relating to existing credit card and vending programs.
  • Monitors data integrity between multiple ERP platforms and PeopleSoft accounting software.
  • Responsible for cash management.
  • Responsible for reconciliations of key activity.
  • Works with electronic payment / receipt programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Professional demeanor, with excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
