CL QA Test Engineer and Lab Infrastructure Owner

Join NVIDIA as a CL QA Test Engineer & Lab Infrastructure Owner in Israel and contribute to advancing technology. Our Cumulus Ethernet system group seeks a dedicated person for a hands-on, on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain the physical lab infrastructure. This outstanding opportunity includes working with NVIDIA Spectrum switches and servers to ensure smooth operations and support for our engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead QA lab operations by handling rack-and-stack, structured cabling, power distribution, asset tracking, and hardware/software provisioning for our world-class systems.

• Coordinate inventory control, procurement, and supply chain management, ensuring detailed operations of lab equipment orders and warehouse functions.

• Offer outstanding technical support to the engineering team by solving hardware problems, resolving network challenges, and arranging resource planning.

• lead hardware and software platforms validation and platform testing of high-speed Ethernet next-generation switch systems.

• Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features on NVIDIA Spectrum series switches running NVIDIA Cumulus Linux.

• Develop comprehensive test plans and implement manual and automated test suites to ensure system integrity.

• Build and maintain automation scripts, and tools for continuous lab maintenance and functional testing.

• Lead defect lifecycle by identifying, , and logging issues, collaborating closely with R&D for quick resolution and fix verification.

What We Need to See:

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in hardware/system quality test engineering.

• Expertise in coordinating and solving Linux-based operating systems, server hardware, and switch configurations.

• Good understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols (e.g., VLAN, STP, LAG, DHCP, LLDP, OSPF).

• Sophisticated experience with board and platform bring-up, power/cooling infrastructure (including liquid cooling), and debugging complex hardware-software interactions.

• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for test automation and operational diagnostics.

• Familiarity with traffic generators (e.g., Ixia, Spirent), test management frameworks, and bug tracking systems.

• Outstanding skills with proven success as an effective liaison across multidisciplinary teams, including Dev, QA, IT, Operations, and Procurement/Vendors.
