Job Purpose & Scope

Responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of talent management and learning initiatives that align with Bank OZK’s strategic goals. This position partners closely with leadership and HR teams to facilitate learning programs, deliver talent data, and support processes that enhance team member performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contributes to performance management, team member development, workforce planning, and HR data reporting by providing operational and analytical support.

  • Supports the development, coordination, and delivery of talent management and learning initiatives, including leadership training, performance processes, and development programs.

  • Facilitates learning workshops and training sessions for managers and team members, ensuring engaging and consistent participant experience.

  • Assists in maintaining talent management tools, systems, and processes, including documentation and job aids.

  • Supports workforce planning activities by compiling and organizing talent data, reporting insights, and identifying emerging trends.

  • Partners with stakeholders to gather information on skill gaps and development needs.

  • Assists in administering performance management processes, including tracking completion, responding to inquiries, and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Prepares presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate key talent insights to stakeholders.

  • Reports program effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and data analysis; support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Partners with LMS administrator to maintain organization of materials within LMS and other systems to ensure accessibility and consistency.

  • Maintains current knowledge of talent management, organizational development, and learning best practices.

  • Demonstrates professionalism, collaboration, and a strong customer-service mindset when working with internal partners.

  • Supports organizational change initiatives by collaborating with project teams to secure leadership buy-in and drive adoption.

  • Displays a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Foundational knowledge of talent management, organizational development, learning and development, and human resources practice.

  • Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret trends and support recommendation.

  • Ability to facilitate training sessions and present information clearly to diverse audiences

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams.

  • Strong organizational, detail orientation, and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem solving, and proactively support team objectives.

  • Ability to produce accurate, thorough, and timely work, while meeting commitments and following policies and procedures.

  • Skill in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other software (e.g., Workday, LMS platforms) to meet the essential job functions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, communications, or related field, or commensurate work experience/certifications, required.

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, learning & development, talent management, or related field, required.

  • Experience supporting training programs, data reporting, or HR processes, preferred.
