City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Med/Surg Nursing floor!

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Unit (3James Med/Surg Stroke Unit) Sentara Careplex Hospital - Hampton, VA

  • $65.00/hr

  • Temporary Full Time

  • 14-week assignment

  • Night shift

  • No benefits

Department/Unit Overview: This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a cardiac cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.

Education

  • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • NIH stroke scale

Experience

  • Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
