Full job description

Our client, an industry leader dedicated to providing state-of-the-art wet processing, drying, and chemical management tools for applications in semiconductors, electronics, flat panel displays, optoelectronics, medical devices, and other industries where cleanliness is critical, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, clear communication, and a continuous improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager

Location: Meridian, ID

Pay Range: $144,000 - $160,000 yearly

What's the Job?

  • Lead and approve mechanical and automation system designs, including plumbing and tank systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements

  • Develop, review, and approve system specifications based on technical feasibility, cost, and performance requirements

  • Provide timely feedback on manufacturing questions and requests for information

  • Lead resolution of manufacturing issues by driving design corrections, updating documentation, and ensuring root cause closure; verify products are built to specifications and resolve discrepancies by updating drawings, routers, and BOMs

  • Oversee engineering execution, resource planning, and design standards to ensure deliverables meet project scope, schedule, and cost targets

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering

  • Three years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer

  • 2 - 6 years of people-management experience

  • Knowledgeable and competent with 3D modeling in SolidWorks

  • Knowledgeable of 2D manufacturing drawings and details necessary for fabrication

  • Ability to read and understand electrical and plumbing schematics from a variety of sources and manufacturers

Nice to Have:

  • Mechanical Engineering experience in a large equipment manufacturing environment and/or semiconductor industry

  • Digital Tool Requirements: AutoCAD, DraftSight, or similar 2-CAD software
