Full job description

Join Stryker’s Contract Management team and play a key role in supporting business operations through the review, negotiation, and management of procurement agreements. This position partners closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and legal professionals to facilitate efficient contracting processes, manage risk, and improve contract management practices across the organization. The role offers broad exposure to manufacturing, service, development, and procurement-related agreements while contributing to process improvements, training initiatives, and contract lifecycle management programs.

What You Will Do

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including equipment purchase agreements, lease agreements, service agreements, development agreements, and statements of work.

  • Advise business partners on contract terms, company policies, business considerations, and contracting processes to support timely decision-making.

  • Identify contractual, financial, and business risks and recommend mitigation strategies, escalating matters for legal review when appropriate.

  • Negotiate contract terms directly with suppliers and third parties while protecting company interests and maintaining productive business relationships.

  • Track contract-related activities, maintain accurate records, and provide status updates to stakeholders to support timely contract execution.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned contract categories and act as a primary point of contact for contract review requests.

  • Develop and deliver training programs, presentations, and educational content on contract management topics for business audiences, including large group sessions.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to contract processes, data analytics, automation, templates, and contract lifecycle management systems.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in contract management, contract negotiation, procurement, legal operations, supply chain, or a related business discipline.

  • Experience drafting and negotiating procurement contracts and statements of work.

  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in contract management, contract negotiation, procurement, legal operations, or a related business function.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, manufacturing, procurement, service, technology, development, and capital equipment contracts.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement contract templates, playbooks, training materials, and contract lifecycle management processes.

  • Experience leveraging contract data, analytics, process automation, and systems administration to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Strong experience supporting IT procurement, including software, hardware, SaaS, cloud services, and technology-related agreements.

  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally within a complex, matrixed organization and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.

  • Experience using Checkbox or similar workflow automation and contract intake solutions to streamline legal and procurement processes.

  • USN : $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual

  • US5 : $93,800 - $156,200 USD Annual

  • US10 : $98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual

  • US15 : $102,700 - $171,100 USD Annual

  • US20 : $107,200 - $178,600 USD Annual

  • US30 : $116,100 - $193,400 USD Annual
