INTL Node Engineer - AOR

Job Description

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Front-End / Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale enterprise-grade digital platforms that support millions of authenticated users. This engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing modern web applications while partnering closely with architects, product teams, and engineers across multiple time zones. Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Build highly performant user experiences leveraging server-side rendering and modern front-end architecture patterns
• Develop reusable components, shared libraries, and platform capabilities used across multiple engineering teams
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to define and implement scalable technical solutions
• Integrate applications with secure APIs, authentication services, analytics platforms, and feature management systems
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions
• Create and maintain robust automated testing coverage across unit, integration, component, and end-to-end testing layers
• Monitor and troubleshoot production applications, identifying root causes and driving issues through resolution
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development efficiency while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability

$10-12/hour

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Strong experience with server-side rendering (SSR), web application performance optimization, and modern front-end architectures (Qwik, Next.js, Remix, or similar).
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, implementing secure authentication (OAuth 2.0), and building applications in Node.js/Express environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native development on GCP, containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering best practices.
• Strong testing and debugging skills across the full stack, with experience using tools such as Jest/Vitest, Testing Library, Playwright, and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures, Nx/pnpm monorepos, and shared component libraries.
• Familiarity with design systems, Web Components (Stencil), Tailwind CSS, and reusable UI frameworks.
• Experience with feature flagging, observability, analytics, and monitoring tools (LaunchDarkly, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industry experience.
