Substitute Receptionist

Description Our client is looking for an on-call Receptionist to provide front desk coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible, short-term work and who can step in when regular office staff are unavailable. Location: Pittsburgh, PA (15227) Schedule: As Needed | Typically 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour Position Type: Contract | On-Site Parking: Free parking available on-site Attire: Business casual Responsibilities: Answer and direct incoming phone calls Enter student attendance into the school's software system Manage daily sign-ins and sign-outs Welcome visitors, oversee visitor check-in procedures, and scan IDs as required Assist with transportation and bussing-related issues Provide detail oriented front desk support for staff, students, and visitors Requirements Qualifications: Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry Reliable and able to adapt to short-notice scheduling needs Professional and welcoming demeanor Additional Information: Coverage needs are typically known one day in advance but may occasionally arise early the morning of the shift Background clearances required prior to start TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
