Position Details
?? Location: Carmichael, CA
?? Pay Rate: $70/hour (local candidates)
?? Hours: 40 hours per week
?? Start Date: August 31, 2026
?? Contract Length: 42 weeks
Responsibilities

Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations

Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports

Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on educational planning

Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families

Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success

Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies as needed
Requirements
-
Valid California School Psychologist Credential
-
Experience in a school setting preferred
-
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
-
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
-
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Minimum Requirements:

Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment

Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
-
Master’s degree in psychology preferred
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
