Full job description

Description

The Print Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality printed graphics and tailored products according to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. This individual will work across a variety of print mediums and substrates, including fabric, laminate, foam board, and garment applications. The role requires strong attention to detail, precise measurement skills, graphics knowledge, and hands-on experience with print production and finishing.

The Print Specialist will prepare and adjust artwork for production, operate print and finishing equipment, perform accurate measurements and cuts, and complete tailoring and finishing work to ensure a high-quality final product. This individual should be comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

-Review work orders, artwork, measurements, and production specifications prior to beginning each job

-Prepare and modify digital files to ensure they are production-ready

-Operate printing, cutting, laminating, heat-transfer, and other finishing equipment as applicable

-Accurately measure, cut, trim, laminate, mount, tailor, and finish printed products

-Produce graphics across a variety of substrates, including fabric, foam board, laminate, and garment materials

-Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure accuracy, color consistency, sizing, and overall print quality

-Troubleshoot minor equipment, file, and production-related issues

-Prioritize multiple projects to ensure work is completed according to established timelines

-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment

-Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of print and production equipment as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-1-3 years of print production, large-format printing, garment printing, or related experience

-Experience working with multiple print materials and substrates

-Understanding of print production processes, file setup, color, sizing, and resolution

-Strong measurement and basic mathematical skills

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment

-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

-Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
