Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Callicoon, NY $65,000 per year | Full-Time | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm / Saturday & Sunday Off

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll help keep our campus safe, functional, and welcoming while leading a team responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of our facilities.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the overall management and daily operations of facility maintenance

  • Provide oversight and quality control for maintenance projects, contractors, and subcontracted work

  • Help plan maintenance schedules, budgets, staffing, and training

  • Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff and Work-Based Learning students

  • Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance through the work order system

  • Assist with construction and facility improvement projects

  • Help develop and implement energy conservation initiatives

  • Prepare scopes of work and monitor contractor performance

  • Ensure maintenance activities meet local, Company, and government standards

  • Identify problems, coordinate solutions, and follow through to ensure work is completed properly

  • Promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Degree from an accredited school or technical certification preferred

  • Three or more years of supervisory experience required

  • Electrician, HVAC, and/or Plumbing license preferred

  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, reaching, lifting, pushing/pulling, stooping, and crouching
