Day Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Employment Practices Intern The Global Employment Practices (GEP) team, which is part of HR, ensures that Cox Automotive has a comprehensive, proactive employment practices strategy that fosters consistent positive employee experiences, ensures compliance, and mitigates risk. This position will gain experience and provide support in employee relations, global mobility & immigration, HR compliance, and employment practices, policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do:
- Research and summarize best practices regarding various employment policies and practices.
- Provide policy development and administration support in response to new or changing business needs or employment laws.
- Provide administration support for training initiatives focused on workplace practices.
- Provide general administrative support for employee relations.
- Create new files for domestic mobility and immigration files in Global Mobility case management platform. Initiate new cases with service providers.
- Support wage audits
- Support Unemployment Claims Process
- Aid with fulfilling requests for personnel files
- Provide support for I-9 audit projects as needed
- Provide administrative support for HR Compliance as needed
- Assist with the review and approval of global remote work requests
Who You Are:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program Human Resources, Business Administration, Pre-Law, and related programs
- Can adapt to change and work effectively in ambiguity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and online research
- Are a problem solver with strong communication and organizational skills
