Review, interpret, and abstract commercial lease documents Extract and summarize key lease terms into the lease management database Track and manage critical lease dates and obligations Process lease-related invoices and payment requests Review account ledgers and financial records Analyze and audit annual operating expense/CAM reconciliations Research lease provisions to validate landlord billing accuracy Challenge and resolve questionable charges with landlords Respond to landlord inquiries and correspondence Manage shared team mailbox and incoming lease-related requests Maintain accurate lease records and documentation Support a large commercial real estate portfolio with ongoing administrative and analytical functions Collaborate closely with Real Estate, Finance, and Portfolio teams Manage a high-volume workload within strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy standards
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Lease Administrator for a leading telecommunications client. This individual will join the Records & Portfolio team and support a large commercial real estate portfolio through lease administration, lease abstracting, invoicing, reconciliation audits, and critical date management. The ideal candidate possesses strong commercial lease interpretation skills and can go beyond basic data entry by analyzing lease language, identifying key provisions, validating landlord charges, and accurately translating critical information into lease management systems.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage a steady, deadline-driven workflow. The successful candidate will work closely with Real Estate and Finance teams, conduct detailed operating expense reconciliation reviews, communicate directly with landlords, and maintain highly accurate lease records. Skills and Requirements
3+ years of Commercial Real Estate Lease Administration experience Strong lease abstracting experience with demonstrated critical thinking Experience reviewing and interpreting complex commercial lease documents Lease invoicing and account reconciliation experience (preferably CAM reconciliation or line by line reconciliation) Experience with Lease Management Systems/Real Estate Databases (CoStar, Lease Harbor, Yardi, or similar) Strong Excel skills with solid math and analytical abilities High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deep experience auditing annual operating expense reconciliations Experience performing CAM/Operating Expense Reconciliations and desktop audits Experience disputing or negotiating questionable landlord pass-through expenses CoStar experience Background working between Real Estate and Finance organizations Experience supporting large commercial real estate portfolios Curiosity and problem-solving mindset Experience in highly audited, quality-focused environments
