Full job description

Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Wastewater Project Manager to join our team in Bisbee, AZ. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of this dynamic project including profit and loss, permit compliance, process control, health and safety, quality, internal/external reporting, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training, performance management and workforce development. Working with other members of our team you'll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. You'll also be responsible for implementing health and safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies. This position will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, biosolids management, SCADA and office management as well as the laboratory.

  • At least 8 years of experience in the wastewater segment with increasing levels of responsibility

  • Experience working with, overseeing, and developing other employees training plans, and succession planning

  • Experience with developing and tracking a safety program with a high level of focus on safety procedures, communication, and training

  • Experience developing budgets, tracking actual expenditures vs budget and variance reporting

  • Experience developing a Capital Improvement Plan

  • Experience with compiling of data, DMR completion and submittal

  • Experience in written and oral presentations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook

  • Valid driver’s license with no major infractions

  • Expected to reside within 20 miles of the Bisbee project location

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum Arizona Wastewater Treatment Level 3 Certification

  • Experience with Compliance tracking software and CMMS asset management program

  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance within a Wastewater facility

  • Ability to read and understand equipment O&M Manuals, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), and Permits

  • Experience in Lab analysis, procedures and practices, and will have Lab Director experience

  • Experience with SCADA systems

  • Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule

  • Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
