Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Operations Analyst for one of our major financial services clients. This individual will sit within the client's account lifecycle and markets onboarding organization, supporting a large-scale legal entity name change initiative. This role centers on analyzing operational impacts, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring successful implementation of complex change across global systems and markets. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between Operations, Technology, Legal, Bank Control, custody providers, and external counterparties. This role will require 3+ days of work on-site at our client's offices.

Key responsibilities include:

Analyzing business impacts from custody, clearing, and reference data changes across multiple global systems Coordinating entity name, SSI/BIC, and static data updates across global processing platforms (GDI, TESS, BTM, CASC, CTM, FPS, and others) Performing bulk data analysis, reconciliation, extraction, and validation to support large-scale updates Supporting account opening, migration, mapping, and testing, including migration of assets, cash, and transaction flows between custodians and markets Executing reconciliations, counterparty notifications, MAPS requests, and UAT, and producing business requirements, test scripts, and status reporting Partnering with internal and external stakeholders across the US, UK, and Asia to drive execution

Skills and Requirements

Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting large-scale change, transformation, or regulatory programs Strong understanding of securities operations, custody services, settlement processes, and static/reference data management Experience managing SSI, BIC, account reference data, and counterparty onboarding activities Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis, reconciliation, and testing across multiple systems Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, large data set manipulation) Experience coordinating technology, operations, legal, and external stakeholder activities Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality Self-motivated, collaborative team player with a logical approach to problem solving Continuous learner with a desire to grow and contribute Knowledge of account opening, migration, and custody transition processes Experience supporting custodian migrations or custody transformation initiatives Familiarity with systems such as GDI, TESS, BTM, CASC, CTM, FPS, GMI, or similar operational platforms Knowledge of clearing and settlement agreements, including repapering/amendment workflows Experience producing business requirements, process documentation, and test artifacts SQL or basic querying experience Exposure to data analytics or reporting environments (e.g., Tableau)
