Job Description

Provides comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients in hospital and participates in the total plan of care as part of the health care team or director by departmental supervisor.

Job Responsibility

1.Hospital:

*Perform standardized patient testing and treatment on each patient as appropriates.

*Perform videofluoroscopic swallowing studies (optional)

*Patient education.

*Multidisciplinary care plan.

*Education for nursing staff and PCTs.

*Comply with updated forms and policies.

*ADA Essential Functions

Job Qualification

*Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, required.

*Currently licensed in Speech Pathology in the State of New York.

*Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, required.

*Eligibility for certification in Speech Pathology by American Speech and Hearing Association.

The salary range for this position is $69.14-$69.14/hour
