  • Develop communication plans, stakeholder updates, briefing materials, talking points, and communication toolkits.
  • Translate technical and program information into audience-specific communications.
  • Support communications related to regulatory filings, customer impacts, advocacy groups, and executive briefings.
  • Identify and escalate reputational, regulatory, or stakeholder risks.
  • Ensure communications are reviewed, aligned, and approval-ready before release.
  • Coordinate vendor-facing communications and support external partner engagement when needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience developing executive briefings, talking points, and communication plans.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to assess communication and reputation risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and leadership groups.
  • Utility industry experience, particularly supporting large transformation or customer-facing programs.
  • Experience working with regulatory filings, commissions, or government affairs teams.
  • Executive communications experience, including presentations, speeches, and board-level materials.
  • Crisis communications, reputation management, or issue escalation experience.
