EJ has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician on our second shift (Monday Friday, 3:30 PM to 12 AM), salary - $28.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

Troubleshoot and repair machinery

Troubleshoot and edit programs and settings on automated equipment

Make or modify fixtures and tooling when needed

Take corrective action on any safety violation and notify the area supervisor

Perform preventive/planned maintenance
-
Buildings and grounds repairs if required

Production, if required
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Five years combined experience & training in a manufacturing or equipment repair environment. Preference for prior industrial maintenance or process technician experience. BOCES, trade school, military training, or 2 year technical education desired.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong mechanical ability, background with fabrication equipment

Tool path programming experience example plasma cutter, robot, or CNC

Knowledge of machinery, including some hydraulic and electrical experience

Strong understanding of safety procedures
-
Must have own tools, able to read calipers, micrometers, use multi-meter
-
Able to perform Planned Maintenance on all equipment in this Facility

Must work well with others
-
Welding knowledge desirable
