The Patient Administrative Associate, through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors. He/she performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. * 1-2 years of secretarial experience is preferred. * High School Diploma or equivalent experience, additional education preferred. * Requires good keyboarding and PC skills, good communication, telephone skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency in use of various office machinery. * Must be able to multitask and set priorities.
